Halo: RP evolved

Just wanted to see if this will work. Since Halo is one of the best franchises that I know of and because its a fun thing to RP about. If you DON'T know what Halo is, you should be skinned alive with a rusty knife, cooked over an open fire, and fed to the Bungie CEO.

The time period we will be typing about, at least for now, is just when Halo two is about to take place. All the races are open for you to play, and any rank available. Please keep the rank you wish to chose in reason. But, if you truly desire a very high rank, Commander or one such as that, make sure your profile explains how you came by that specific rank. If you really want you can have more then one character.
Possible races to chose:
Humans (From Private to Spartan.)
Grunts (Most abundant Covenant race. Normally used as front line troops.)
Jackals (One of the most vicious Covenant races. Normally scouts or assassins.)
Elites (The most proud race. Highly value honor. Always in some position of command. Excellent all around troop.)
Brutes (Newest race to join the Covenant. As the name suggest they are very brutal, love to kill, eat, and command with fear.)
Hunters (Always travel in pairs, walking tanks, almost impossible to kill with normal means.)
Drones (Only Covenant race that can fly. They resemble large insects and speak with a clicking tongue.
Prophets (The leaders of the Covenant, weak but incredibly smart.)

Appearance: His skin in the normal light yellow for his race. His eyes are the normal bright purple/pink of his race. The build of his body is fairly standard, thin and bird like. His crystalline hair is slightly shorter then normal Jackals, same with his height. Personality: Vox is normally very quiet, a trait earned from sniping, having to sit for a long time just for that perfect shot. Around his commanding officers he tends to be very respectful and will follow mostly ever order without a second though. Around other snipers he is always focused on keeping his allies safe, often helping those that are pinned down, even risking his life to get them to safety. But if the battle turns sour for him he is sometimes quick to panic, leading to rash decisions and not taking his time while firring. When the battle is almost lost he will often decide that it is better to run and live, then die now. His reason being that you can always redeem yourself later, but not when your dead.
History: Born into a normal family on his home planet of Eayn he was drafted into the military at a young age. Ever since the first time he laid his eyes upon one, he has been fixated with the sniper rifle. His commanding officer took notice of this, and put the young jackal into training. Vox turned out to be a natural, and was passed through training really quickly. In his first battle he loved the feeling of the rifle as it kicked back from the shots, the heat from the bolt as it streaked off towards its target, and the satisfied feeling of the accelerated particles hitting their mark. He is slightly more brave then most of his brethren. But will still run if the battle is really going bad.

Appearance: Scrawny and thin with deep wrinkles and constantly baggy-eyes. Even with these attributes he seems far younger than 61, many would assume his age around the late thirties. His skin is pale, he has short brown hair, and he often wears a trimmed beard-moustache.
Fears: Not living up to his family name, small insects, and mechanical failure.
Personality: Benjamin IX is and has almost always has been very self-critical of his work. Unless he is making some sort of scientific breakthrough, Benjamin always seems to be frustrated with himself and constantly thinking on what sort of project to complete next. Through years of sleepless nights in a lab, Benjamin has regretfully developed some minor cases of paranoia and very acute schizophrenia; normally these are unnoticeable.
History: Benjamin Winn IX's birth certificate states that he was born on July 5th, 2492 (strangely, the same day as his great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather). Although, many would guess that he is far younger. At an early age he was introduced to the field of chemistry by his father, Benjamin VIII. Although he worked in the field of chemistry all his life, he acquired (to his father's displeasure) an interest in robotics. Since then he developed several construction-based automatons for commercial use. Once he had shown enough skill, he (like many of his family before him) was accepted into the ONI (the Office of Naval Intelligence) as a senior researcher. Once contact with the Covenant began, to his future pleasure, Benjamin IX began working on military-grade robotics and weapons engineering. Thankfully, his background in chemistry had given him the knowledge to create several energy-efficient creations during this time. Unknown to many, even perhaps some within ONI, all of the products made by Benjamin have a small '9' imprinted onto their sides.

Hissing his breath seeped between his teeth as it rose in a small cloud of warm gas. The jackal shifted slightly as he pulled his jacket closer to himself. Why, why a Arctic deployment, why. He couldn't see why any humans would want to come here. All he could see through his constantly fogging up goggles was snow. Looking back he could just see the outline of the research facility in the haze of snow. Dam scientist's, they get to stay warm while I have to stay out here, freezing my feathers off....Sighing he picked some of the snow out of his hair and went back to looking. taking the type 50 rifle(beam rifle) from his back he made sure that it was still functional, the low humm was all he needed to hear. But he looked down at his wrist while he put his rifle back over his back. Exactly zero digresses. Wiping the steam off his goggles for the un told time he looked back out into the white abyss. Even if the humans would try to get here, what would he be able to do to stop them, he could barely see 100 feet in front of him wile the snow fell heavily. But at least his shift would be over soon.

Looking out over the recently conquered city Vox couldn't help but smile as his rifle recharged behind him. The humans had fallen so quickly. But you can never be sure when they are dead. They much reminded him of the rats that littered most of these worlds. Even when you though you had killed them all, more would just pop up. Smiling as he took his Beam rifle off the recharging rack and slipped it back over his back. Walking out of the temporary command center he nodded respectively at his Shangheili(elite) superiors and kept walking out to the human roads. Shrugging he started walking on the patrol that they had wanted him to guard. His hearing on edge for anything that might tell him that the humans were around. Even though they were like rats, he had seen what their weapons could do, and wasn't up for seeing them personally. Pushing the thought from his mind he turned the corner away from the command post and kept walking. A pity that most of his brethren had been killed in the attack on this city. The few shield bearers were being treated in the medical center, and the snipers that had survived were on various rooftops, waiting for any sign of humans. He would be up there with them, but his superiors had wanted him to take up a patrol because if the troops that had died. They needed more watching. Shrugging he kept walking around the city, looking for humans or anything that his commander would like to have.

The hunters wear armor to define the appendages of the convergance of the worms.
Personality: Zorn is the typical quite Hunter, they rarely talk and when they do it is done telepathicly. If someone gets in his way of fire they die.
History: Zorn was abandoned by his unit during the mission, which wounded him deeply. Other than that moment nothing is known about Zorn or his past. After that day when he was left behind Zorn swore never to be left again. About 2 years after his unit left him behind, Zorn was in quite a heavy battle that left most of his troop dead or dying. With the remaining members of his squad, Zorn lead them to safety by covering them from behind. Due to his bulk and sheer power Zorn was able to complete his mission. He was offered an advancement but wished to stay a lower level peon or a soldier. Only Zorn himself knows the reason why he rejected the advancement.

Appearance: Armor that is a dark grey color, with black stripes across his helment, arms, and legs. He has a picture of a Reaper on his chest. When bane doesn’t have his armor on, he has light brown skin, silver eyes, brown hair, and slightly pointed ears (due to a genetic abnormailty).
Personality: Bane is a quiet type, reserved, does what he is told with a passion that people think he enters a battlemind type thing.Where he sees only the battle nothing else.
History: As a young child Bane dreamed of battle, he even acted out some by himself. With this weird thing he did no one wante to be near him. After years of getting teased by other children, Bane finally cracked and beat one of the kids near death. Soon after that event Bane was taking to a training facility to be ‘fixed’ his parents were told. Bane never saw them again. Filled with the pain of having his parents ripped away from his life, Bane swore that he would never fail at anything he did no matter what. When the war came, Bane was put inot a unit and sent into the fray. His unit leader was amazed with the uncanny abilities Bane possesed, and wanted him to be sen somewhere he could do some real damage to the enemy. To this day Bane has been looking for a unit that can serve his prupose.

(Good job Admin. Just remember that hunters normally always travel in pairs, unless their bond brother has been killed. So you can decide to have just one or two hunters. Also why would your human be scared of the spartans?)

`Benjamin IX was standing over a large table with several advanced and complicated blueprints strewn about its surface. Benjamin rubbed his chin thoroughly, noting that he needed a trim... probably a bad sign since he couldn't tell what day it was. Banjamin raised his head as he heard a tapping through the halls behind him, someone was in a hurry. After a moment the doors behind Benjamin flew open as another researcher came bursting in. The researcher stood a moment, catching his breath, and said Horsly "The Covenant has taken the city above us... we have to get out of here!"
`Benjamin sighed and rubbed his forehead with his forearm, then threw on his black ONI grade lab-coat. "Grab the documents and the samples while I gather up the data and blueprints... I want this all out of here ten minutes ago, move!" he replied harshly. Benjamin hastily walked over to a nearby data terminal and pressed a button. The Data terminal quickly folded in upon itself several times, until it was a mere fraction of its original volume. A small handle extended out of one side and was quickly grabbed by Benjamin.
`Within minutes Benjamin and the other researcher were standing within a large garage in-front of a strange looking vehicle. The vehicle slightly resembled an MRAP (armored truck) used over five centuries ago in Iraq by occupying U.S. forces. The main difference, however, was the clear resemblances to Covenant technology, including a hovering base and a Covenant-style turret upon its roof. Benjamin opened a back hatch and threw in the suitcase-like computer, closed the door, and locked it with an encrypted code. After both Benjamin and the other researcher had entered another part of the vehicle, six ONI special forces soldiers quickly surrounded the armored hovercraft. One of the soldiers entered the drivers seat, while one other climbed onto the turret, leaving the remaining four to sit on sides of the vehicle.
`Back at the city's street level, there was a long silence. This silence was soon broken by the thundering of the armored hovercraft's entrance through a large (previously concealed) garage-door. The soldiers quickly began gunning down any covenant they could lay their eyes upon as the craft attempted to make its escape out of the city... heading right for one particular Jackal...

Sighed as he made his second round of the city blocks he looked down at the small devise that he had taken from the humans on his wrist. A watch or something. It kept flashing back between the time and date. While it wasn't nearly as good as the normal tactical comms that the covenant had. He liked the look of it. Besides, it had a V on the side and had never broken before. Shrugging he kept walking along his route.
Still no sign of the humans as he walked past a blank wall. But the ground under his feet started to rumble. Looked around nothing seemed to be moving, but the shaking was getting worse. Looking back at the wall he just had time to grab his pistol before a human vehicle charged out of the wall. Vox was to shocked to move for just a second. Before his instincts took over. Just before the vehicle hit him he dove out of the way. Quickly taking over behind a abandoned automobile he tapped the small com devise on his head. "The humans! They are running from the city in a vehicle!" He shouted into it as the plasma from the cannon washed over the car. Slipping his rifle from his back he went prone and looked under the car as the boots of the humans went further away from them. Crawling out from behind the car so he had full view of the humans he took sight on one acting as a rear guard and fired. The armored man fell with a hole in the back of his head, but before he had hit the ground Vox had already hit the second human in the neck. Rolling back behind the car as the humans returned fire he cursed himself. Now the humans will want my head....The others better get here soon....
But he could hear all the firing that was going on, he was all alone against the humans. Where are the other snipers.....or anyone? The heat from the plasma cannon was getting hotter, the car was starting to melt, soon they would be through it and starting to hit him. He held his rifle in one hand as he drew his pistol in his left. If he was going to die now, at least he would take as many of them down as he could....

`Benjamin quickly noticed that the vehicle had stopped to return fire at the Jackal. Benjamin and the other researcher looked up at each-other for a moment, then Benjamin pressed a button on an armrest beside him and barked an order; "Quit stalling! We have more important matters to attend to than a small skirmish! Just keep going; have the remaining men on the sides focus on the rooftops, and have the turret cover the back... we can't just sit here like cows for the slaughter! Quickly, while we still have an opening!"
`Getting the hint, the driver nodded and floored it. Most of the remaining men jolted as the vehicle began speeding forward. The man who had been shot in the neck practically fell off, but was grabbed by another before going too far. He was then injected with some sort of fluid, then pushed inside the craft, practically unconscious. As the man was pushed inside, the researcher jumped in his seat, then exhaled in frustration. "I'm going to have to take care of this... aren't I?" He said irritated. Benjamin simply nodded, and the other researcher pulled out a first aid kit and got to work.
`Meanwhile, the two remaining men on the sides of the vehicle began firing in systematic bursts in any area above them that could be used as cover for a Covenant sniper. At the same time, the man in the heavily armored turret was spraying ammunition at doors of buildings they passed, as well as hitting the (nearly incinerated) car that concealed a lone Jackal. If anything, the hovercraft (going at it's high speed and with blasts coming from all directions from it) resembled a giant firework zooming through the captured city. They slowly were reaching its outskirts...

With the car almost completely melted Vox was readying himself for his last stand. But then the fire from the cannon started to slacken off and Vox risked a quick look over the top of the smoldering wreckage. The human hover vehicle was moving away. Taking sight with his rifle again he aimed at the humans on the side. But the craft was moving to sporadically to get a perfect shot. Only one of his shots hit its mark. Hitting one of the men in the knee. Cursing Vox dropped his beeping rifle as it desperately tried to cool itself down. Looking around for any other weapon he heard a scream from above him, and just lept out of the way in time to avoid being crushed by a falling sniper. Not sparring the bloody splatter a second glance he quickly picked up his fallen brothers rifle and laid down to get a better shot at the vehicle. Taking a deep breath he took careful aim at what he could see as the least armored part of the vehicle, and shot off two beams in quick successions.
By now the vehicle had just cleared the city boundary's. The snipers now the only thing taking shots at the humans. But they could do nothing to stop the vehicle. They only were able to kill both of the humans still on the side of the craft. Vox cursed as he saw the vehicle speed away. He could only hope the part of the vehicle he hit was a vital part.
Picking up his old rifle and the dead jackals he walked back to the temporary HQ. Hopefully that would be his last near death experience today. But, knowing his luck with assignments, probably not. But he kept his expression blank as he set his weapons to get re charged again as as the remaining covenant force in the city rallied to receive new orders...

Appearance: 6’4 or 6’6 in armor. Short black hair, green eyes, “built like a tank” might be accurate. Cybernetics: Neural Interface.
History: born on earth, early childhood much the same as the “Chief’s” underwent Spartan training. Recently upgraded to the Mark VI Mjolnir armor. Has served in many of the same missions as the “Chief” whom he respects greatly. currently in cryo.

The cyro pod cracked open aborting and thawing.. Adrian-094 stepped out slightly disoriented but as always not for long... seeing his new midnight black black armor- he hurries into it with a skilled ease only years of practice could explain. hearing the sounds of a gun fight.. Adrian looks moves to the weapons rack.. grabbing his standard load, a good old United Nations Navy sniper rifle, shotgun and a magnum.. moving to the roof he takes a glance through his scope seeing the tail end of the furball.. the vehicle escaping the city and the jackal moving away.. that brief glance was to fast for even him to fire on it..

Grumbling under his breath as screaming from his commanding officers blasted through his comm Vox took his time making his way back to the HQ. Shrugging as he tuned out the voices a bit he looked at the rifle he had picked up. He could tell it was modified, and a small XR was right under the trigger. Vox smiled slightly, this was one of Xusar'Ralrs rifles, one of the best modifiers of plasma weapons, but incredibly expensive and hard to get. Now he finally had one. But he smile was wiped from his face as the screams from his comm got louder. Taking it off his head he turned it on its side and started to turn the volume down a bit. But without warning a bullet hit him in his left leg, the force knocking Vox off his feet. Cursing loudly he clutched his leg, rolling back and fourth, his hands soon stained with his own purple blood. He knew that he was a easy target out here, but the pain in his leg was unbearable. Looking around he could see the two rifles and his com, but he had dropped them in the fall, and they were out of his reach. Taking his hand off his leg he started to reach for them, but a new wave of pain brought his hands back to his leg. He had never felt so much pain in his entire life....

`Speeding away from the captured city, far out of sight by now, the vehicle began slowing down moderately to conserve fuel. Suddenly, all of the remaining men within the vehicle cringed at the sound of a loud clank behind them. The vehicle came to a surprisingly quiet halt, and the men inside poked their head's out to thee the source of the clang; a large slab of metal-plating lay about twenty meters behind them. Benjamin attempted to locate where the metal could have come from, when lo and behold, a generous section was missing from the trunk-area of the vehicle! Noting a small two-inch tall and very wide segment of unarmored low-grade metal just below where the chunk had fallen off, Benjamin had an urge to slap whoever designed the transport. Within a half-hour the slab of detached plating was shabbily drilled back into place. The two wounded soldiers, turreter, the pilot, and two researchers jumped back aboard as the transport zipped away towards a far-off building complex for refuel and retrofitting.

moving quietly from his perch on the building Adrian started looking for any vehicle to get him out there on the tail of the he had seen... seeing a several ghosts parked down an alley he moved cautiously toward them expecting an ambush or at least some security...realizing that his luck was with him he moved forward picked one for his use and rigged several frag grenades to explode when the others were started ... taking off to the edge of the city he heard the crack boom of his grenades......

Within twenty seconds another Jackal came running up to Vox, his brothers amazing hearing letting him hear the sniper shot. Slinging his rifle over his shoulder he knelt next to Vox and started to slowly help him to his feet. "Its alright Vox, I got you, just take it easy." Gritting his teeth as pain still shot through his leg, his brother slinging Vox's arm over his shoulder and starting to help him back toward the medical lab. But Vox made sure to grab the modified rifle when he limped past it. Thankfully his comrade didn't notice the modified rifle. But they both stopped when they heard the explosions from the ghosts. Hissing angrily as they started off again Vox swore to himself that he would make that human pay somehow....

Little did he know that he would be chasing after a Demon, one of the greatest killing machines in the universe...

seeing the complex up ahead and figuring the vehicle was headed there Adrian too headed there...parking the ghost and jogging the last 2 miles as not to be mistaken for the enemy Adrian got there barely breathing hard..

Zorn rushed forward silent but deadly felling his enemies like flies. His squad stood out of his way whilst he leared the way for the squad to move forward. When finished Zorn shook his laser arm and charged forward felling even more enemies. In the heat of battle Zorn noticed something was wrong, looking aroundZorn saw a large rocket coming toward them. Zorn Hefted his Laser and took aim charging it to full blast and let loose a blast so large it could clear a small town. The rocket fell to the planet, and Zorn just ignored the falling debris and continued to fire his laser at the enemy frontlines.

It took awhile for Vox and his brother to make it to the HQ. Thankfully his leg had stopped bleeding and he limped into the medical lab. Nodding his brother wished him luck on getting better, then left to go guard the city again. Soon Vox was barely holding in screams as the Shangheili doctor took the sniper bullet out of his leg. Vox swore out loud as the bullet was finally removed. Looking down at the hole on his leg as it started to bleed again he quickly wrapped it up and slipped his shin armor back over it. Thanking the doctor and tested to see if he could still stand. It hurt him a bit, but he could at least walk. Though he wouldn't be able to run for awhile. Walking out of the center he retrieved his rifle and took looked down at the water. The meeting to receive their new orders was just about to stop. Slowing walking over to the HQ he sighed as he slipped the rifle over his back. Soon again he would be in battle, what a day, soon to be three near death experiences....

"Benjamin is that you?" walking through the complex Adrian noticed the old scientist and recognizing him at once....

Looking up from his work, Benjamin seemed irritated. "Do I know you...?" he said, clearly disturbed by the interruption. After looking over his shoulder at a clock, his eyes went back to the spartan. "How in the hell did you get in here anyway..?" he groaned.

"Ah come now lab boy! Do you dislike me that much? I only blew up half of the lab... I noticed your vehicle looked like you were under attack I figured you might like some muscle to protect your brains.. we have a whole platoon of marines here a few warthogs.."

Vox just made it into the HQ when their commanders hologram had just switched off. Grumbling under his breath he grabbed a grunt as it walked past him. Glaring at it and barring his pointed teeth the grunt quickly babbled out what had been told in the meeting. Satisfied Vox pushed it out the door and started to walk off toward the vehicle garage.
As he expected he would have to go into battle again. They would be stepping up their assault on the humans and attacking their base a few miles away. Nodding to his superiors he lifted off the ground and soon joined his sniper squad in the Phantom(Flying troop carrier). Lifting off they gathered around and discussed their plan of attack. They would be dropped first, about a mile from the base, and would report on what defenses were there. Then, when the order came, they would begin shooting any humans they showed their heads. Rattling their head feathers the jackals all spoke a old Kig-Yar good luck omen, and were dropped in their pre determined spot.
Quickly spreading out on the small hill top overlooking the base they scanned the base, talking back and fourth to each other as they looked...
