Sitting in the back of the Bestine cantina was a strange fellow. Looking down at his table and he idly drank a strange brown liquid. It haddn't been more then a few years since the rebels attack on the Death Star. A pity really, they payed Ollan so well. So, now that one of his most valued employers were gone, Ollan was out of work until someone else called for his service. Sipping more of his liquid he sighed, taking out a datapad he began writing, it didn't look like anyone would be needing him soon anyway....

::Entry one::
As I look out onto the sea of faces.
Those I know.
Those I know in passing.
Those I know from job's only.
What we see now is what we shall see forever.
I cannot help but think 'whats the point?'
Someday we will all be gone.
Someday someone will look back and see nothing.
Nothing.
Because nothing is the true winner.
The one thing left standing at the end of it all.
What we see now is what we shall see forever.
There is no higher plane.
There is no salvation.
This is what we will have for the rest of our pointless lives.
What we see now is what we shall see forever.
Only what you do now counts.
Nothing else.
If you spend your life in constant fear.
You can never live.
What we see now is what we shall see forever.
Life is run by turmoil and strife.
The universe is spun by conflict.
Be that the conflict between each of us.
Or the constant galactic battle for space in the grand scheme of things.
What we see now is what we shall see forever.
This life is all you have.
You cant live in fear.
You can't live trying to know everything.
The rules of life are being broken and reforged constantly.
You can't fix them, you can only hope they last as long as you are here.
What we see now is what we shall see forever.

Enjoy your life while you can.
Because you never know when it will be snuffed out.
Like so many specks of light in the sky.
Or like so much waste on Coruscant.
Brushed away to make room for the future.

Yet what is this future?
Ask yourself that while you walk the road of life.
Ask yourself before its to late.
Ask yourself before you too are snuffed out.

What we see now is what we shall see forever.

You wouldnt expect a chagrian to be working in this far into the outer rim. Hell, you wouldnt expect anyone to be out here! Nordon scrubbed the counter top at his cantina "The 50/50 club", it wasn't the best place around, but it brought in good customers. Yet what got Nordon going was the number of bounty hunters who pile into bestine looking for imperial posted bounties; clients were abundant here. He looked over to the man typing into his datapad and grunted before saying " 'ey you over there, you a bounty hunter? I got somethin' for ya" he said, flicking his long blue tongue out.

Looking up at the Chagrain Ollan switched off his data pad and looked over. "Such perspective skills you have." Ollan said with a slight roll of his eyes as he patted the heavy blaster at his side, stood up and walked over. Looking at the Chagrain again he bodily shoved a drunk sitting on one of the stools out of the way and sat down, looking at the blue skinned creature one last time. "And what, pray tell, do you have for me?"

The chagrian grunted and hacked before speaking. He was not as delicate and noble as most of his species were portrayed but he didn't care. Nordon lived in a dirty city, so in turn; he was a dirty man. His tunic was blotted with tan spots from sand and one of his horns was cut. He looked around from side to side and motioned for the hunter to come closer...

Rolling his eyes again at the blue skinned creature as he hacked and coughed Ollan couldn't see what this bar owner would have for him. Probably some low assigment like collecting payment on a long time holdout. Or making sure someone never came back. Looking back at the Chagrain he moved closer in his seat. Still not beleiving that he had anything good for him.
